UF Chapman Chapter receives highest “Exemplary” ranking from national GHHS

Based on the triennial national Gold Humanism Honor Society Chapter Check-in Survey the GHHS chapter at the University of Florida College of Medicine receives their highest “Exemplary” ranking!

The questionnaire is sent to 160 GHHS chapter advisors and identifies events, activities and programs designed or conducted at least in part by GHHS medical students that:

*   increase engagement and empathy with the diverse patient community they serve

*   encourage clinician resilience and team building

*   teach advocacy and leadership skills so critical for today’s clinicians.

*   highlight the importance of compassionate care at all levels in the healthcare workplace

The Gold Foundation staff congratulates our chapter leaders.

Dr. Lynch’s congratulatory comments to the Chapman members included these: “The hard work of our students and other members has been recognized as an exemplary chapter and this speaks to all the work done by so many, but especially the leaders of the Class of 2020, Sam, Sachoya and Doreen. I congratulate all the members and wish you wisdom and good health in these trying times. May each of us continue to care for one another as we care for our patients, more so now than ever.”
