Submission about Silvija: “After a long day of lecture and anatomy lab, I was feeling really overwhelmed with the amount of anatomy that I would have to teach that week. Silvija took the time to pull me aside and ask if I was feeling okay. When I let her know that I was feeling overwhelmed, she reminded me that it is impossible to know everything about every single course and that academic prowess does not (fully) predict how good of a doctor I will be. I am so grateful to the UF COM community for making a space that allows us to be vulnerable with each other, and for Silvija for keeping me grounded on a tough day.”
